Who can use the Faculty Staff Fitness Program?

Pullman-based Faculty/Staff members, above the age of 18 years old, who have a current shoe tag.

How can I purchase a Faculty Staff Fitness Program Membership?

You can purchase a membership online here or by calling David Grassi at (509) 335-4227. 

What payment options are available?

  • Memberships can be purchased online or over the phone with a credit card or via payroll deduction.
  • Semester memberships may only be deducted from one paycheck.
  • Annual Memberships can be payroll deducted from 1 or 22 deductions during the enrollment period of August 1st through August 31st. After that, annual memberships can only be deducted from 1 paycheck. 

What facilities can I use?

Faculty Staff Fitness Program Members are eligible to use PEB 144, PEB Racquetball Courts, PEB 30 Weight Room, Gibb Pool, Mooberry Track, SRC Outdoor Tennis Courts and Hollingberry Fieldhouse. 

When can I use the facilities?

The Faculty Staff Fitness Program is open Monday-Friday, 11:00am-1:00pm. 

What do I need to use to gain access to the Faculty Staff Fitness Program?

All members will have a shoe tag delivered to the Smith Gym Towel Cage. Members should wear their shoe tags throughout their usage of the facility. Participants without shoe tags will be asked to leave during the Faculty Staff Fitness Program hours. 

What services are offered for Faculty Staff Fitness Program Members?

Members will receive:

  • Free locker with their membership purchase
  • Discounts for classes and personal training
  • Free towel service at the Smith Gym Towel Cage

Is the Faculty Staff Fitness Program open on holidays?

The Faculty Staff Fitness Program will be closed on all University Holidays, except for holidays that occur midweek.

Where will the Faculty Staff Fitness Program be held in the event of a Special Event Closure?

Faculty Staff Fitness Program may experience various closures or be moved to different spaces due to special events. All space reservation changes will be communicated to the members prior to the scheduled event. 

How can I obtain a locker?

Please contact David Grassi at (509)335-4227 or email him at david.grassi@wsu.edu. Lockers are only available for current members. Please note, registration for Fitness Classes or Personal Training does not allow for locker room access unless you are a member of the Faculty Staff Program.

 Am I eligible for a refund?

Faculty Staff Fitness Program membership purchases will be refunded on a prorated basis, and only under the following circumstances:

  • Faculty & Staff Fitness program member has separated from employment with the University.

  • Faculty & Staff Fitness program member will be moving out of the area.

  • Faculty & Staff Fitness program member has documented medical circumstances that will not allow them to use the facility.
